Dr. Rogers received the 2000 Torch Award from the Better Business Bureau for Excellence in Ethics for his efforts to educate people about vaccines.
He was instrumental in getting the Texas Dept. of  Public Health to change the rabies vaccination requirements to every 3 years, effective as of March 2003.
His seminar has been approved by the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Practitioners for 2 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credits.
