Here are the pictures of the Pet Fest America we participated in, sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States on Feb 28, 2004.  We had a good day meeting lots of the public. 

We had ten volunteers; Michelle, Dennis, Midge, Dollye, Carole, Janet, Frank, Daniel, Alice, and Renee, along with four of our wonderful crowd-pleasing Danes, Zeus, Olympia, Merlin and Maymie! 

We had comments that we were the best looking rescue booth out of the 30 rescues present at the Pet Fest!  Yea!  It was a big team effort and though we worked hard all day, everyone went home with a feeling of a job well done and that we did a good thing. 

We gave out lots of educational materials, such as the new vaccination protocols, our food recommendation article, dangers of rawhide products, newly written by Dusti, and many others.  And we talked with folks that train dogs, and folks that might want to foster or adopt, and with folks that just said "WOW" about how good our Danes were. 

Oh, and "WOW" to how big they were too, of course!  It was pretty much a very good day!  The pictures will show us at work.
