LADY BOSS
Lady Boss is a tall large girl that is a
beautiful black and white mantle color. She is almost 5 years old and has
been well cared for. She was bought as a puppy and kept as an indoor dog
and loved as part of the family. She has been given up because her 'dad'
has had a stroke and has gone into the hospital with complications from
diabetes which has caused him to need his leg amputated. He can no longer
get up and down and therefore can not care for her properly. She has been
a very sweet dog that lived her whole life with an older German Shepherd
male who recently passed away from cancer. She is easy to walk, has good
house manners, respects a baby gate, and has some basic obedience.
Attitude about cats and small dogs and kids is unknown. She will be
further evaluated soon in a foster home.

Foster Family Feedback
7-02-02 Foster update on Lady Boss. Lady
Boss is a striking mantle color and is a tall 34 1/2 inches at the
shoulder. She is a total pleasure to walk in the neighborhood and her
foster mom says though she is big, she is the easiest dog she's had to
handle on walks. She stays close and never pulls on the leash, something
she wishes her own dogs would learn! She is light on her feet and at times
looks like she prances. She has confidence but needs more socializing with
outings to Petsmart and meeting people. She is a friendly girl and once
introduced, she quickly becomes comfortable. She was good with other dogs
at the vet hospital and is not aggressive with the resident Danes in her
foster home. She bonds quickly and is obedient and responsive and wants to
please. She was kept indoors in her former home and has nice house
manners. She is a vibrant and graceful girl that seems to be wide-eyed
about learning everything the world has to teach her. Her foster mom says
she is sweet and affectionate and is just a very impressive girl. She will
be a wonderful addition to a lucky home that will appreciate her size and
gentleness and spirit.
