Foster update on Heidi. 6-18-02. Heidi is doing VERY well in her foster home. She is very comfortable with her foster mom AND dad, though in her previous homes she was frightened of the men, for reasons that can not be explained. When outside, loud noises scare her and children screaming and running scare her too. But she doesn't seem to have a problem with storms. She is living with 5 other Great Danes and plays and gets along very well with all of them. She loves walks and especially loves rides in the car. And she likes to carry toys around in her mouth all day, until it is time to be a couch potato! She is a very sweet and affectionate girl that seems to prefer a very low-key, quiet home with other dogs for canine company and reassurance.
