Ginger...is about 5 1/2 years old. She is black with a white blaze on her chest and has natural ears. She is a petite girl that is about 29 to 30 inches at the shoulder.
GINGER (now known as Rylie) was adopted about 4 years
ago and is now being returned to us because her adoptive home has
added a couple of children. They don't have time left for Ginger
and have relegated her to live in the back yard for the last 2
years. We will be finding out what Ginger is like now that she is
an adult dog and hope that she is still the very sweet girl that she
was as a youngster. More info will be forthcoming when her foster
home sends an update.
Update 4-1-06 ......Ginger is a 5
year old bouncy, happy girl who acts younger than her age. She
loves people and meets folks with enthusiasm. Looking for a
walking companion, as well as a couch companion. Yep, she is
pretty well-rounded, without the puppyhood problems that would
accompany a younger dog. As with other 'mature' Danes, Ginger
is a ready-to-go-anywhere-anytime pal, hoping folks will be
enthused about who she is today.
Update: She is happy and energetic, acting much younger than her 5 years. She is getting along with other dogs in her foster place, though she tends to want to play hard. She always greets everybody with enthusiasm. She needs some guidance and nurturing to assure her that she will be safe from harm. She is looking forward to a special someone who will give her a soft bed, good meals, take her for walks and rides and just love her. She is waiting for that special home that will treat her as a respected member of the family, the one she has deserved from the moment she was born. |
