This is BANDA! He is about 5 years old. His owner wasn't sure of his age because she adopted him from a shelter. He has very pretty brindle colors and has lots of 'get up and go' now that he has lost so much of the pudgy body fat he came in with! He is a much more svelte looking fella, thanks to his foster family's walking routine and strict attention to his diet. He is now handsome. And he knows it! He is sweet and quiet and calm, but really LOVES a good run in the park and rides in the car! He was not abused in his former home. But he got into trouble when he was left outside alone with the livestock. This is the sad story of many Great Danes wrongly left outside on the farm to 'find something to do'! He was going to be put to sleep unless he was accepted into Rescue. He was housetrained and allowed inside a lot. He even slept on the bed peacefully with 6 cats! He is now in a foster home, living happily with 5 other Great Danes! His house manners are great and he is very sweet, affectionate, willing and responsive.

Banda likes walks and rides in the car and being a couch potato. He is fitting in wonderfully with 5 other Danes in his foster home. He is a sweetheart and a love sponge. He is very overweight but will look impressive when he gets the weight off from his special diet and long walks his special foster mom takes him on.
