ASLAN

Aslan is a 2-year old fawn boy.  He's a handsome guy with a great personality.  His family (husband and wife) has sadly been taken very ill and has had to ask a dear friend to take care of him and find him another home.  He is very good with people once he knows you. He is slower to get to know men than women, and is hesitant with children.  He is shy with strangers but will warm up.  He does act clingy when strangers are present.   (He will need his confidence built.) 

He is very playful with the friend's Dane puppy, who is 10 mos. and about 130lb.  How he feels about cats is unknown at this time.  Aslan was raised with two other males Danes and a poodle.  He has been gentle with them, but is best with females.

Aslan has been through obedience classes and other handling classes.  He is great on walks on leash and with voice commands.

He has been loved from puppyhood, and is loved by these people's friend as well.   He has been kept up to date on vaccinations, etc., and he has no known health issues. 

In his current temporary home he is confused about being away from his people and his first home.  He is not getting along well with the resident adult male Dane, so we are recommending he go to a home with no male dogs, no small children.  He would like a patient and loving home that will help him build his confidence (lots of activities and obedience classes are great for that), and a home that will see him as the special, smart and ready-for-anything guy he is
