HARRISON

               HARRISON is a huge boy with dramatic merle color and handsome natural ears.  He was almost put to sleep in animal control for his shyness with the public, but he quickly warmed up when he realized no one was out to hurt him.  He has since come into a great confidence and loves people.  He likes to be right in the middle of things, right by your side, checking out whatever you are doing, wanting to help of course, according to his foster mom.  And he gets along with the other Danes and critters in the foster home.  He has learned a lot of manners, learned how to play, and is a very different dog now.  The foster is smitten with him because he fits with the other dogs and things so well.  He minds very well, learns quickly, and “doesn’t have a mean bone in his body”, says his foster mom.  He’s loving and tries very hard to please.  He is crate trained and goes in willingly.  He plays with the other dogs and even “shares” the toys.  Harrison will go up and take the end of a toy another dog is carrying and together they carry it from room to room.  Pretty cute.  He has had all his medical work done, including being treated for heartworms, and he is frisky and ready to find his forever home.  We believe him to be around 2 or 3 years but acts like a much younger boy.  A great example of a dog enjoying life!
