WEBSTER

This boy needs a chance at a home that will love him like he deserves to be loved.  He is a handsome merle and white with great natural ears and he is about 3 years old.  He has lived most of his short life in a back yard with NO SHELTER, and apparently very little food.  A new family in the neighborhood discovered him over the fence and saw how starved he looked so began to give him food after observing no one coming out of his home to feed him or pay attention to him.  The new people were haunted by hearing him cry at night.  They told rescue people about him.  Then his owners were approached and they gave him away to rescuers without a blink of an eye or any obvious concern for their dog.  It was a lucky day for Webster.  Sad how some humans don't consider their dogs to be living beings.  =(

Since then he has been cared for, heart worm treated, neutered, and brought back to health by Animal Angels dog rescue.  He was adopted out once to a home with an aggressive male dog who attacked him (see one of his pictures with a 'war wound' from it) which has made him very leary of male dogs now.

He is good with female dogs, with children who fed him through the fence at his old house, with kids that he lives with in the foster home, with cats, and great with all people.

He sleeps with one of the kids in his foster home, and carries around a blankie in his mouth for reasons we can only guess at.  He is a happy house dog and knows some basic obedience now and even hand signals.  He no longer has reason to cry at night or at any time.  He knows he is safe and loved.  And now he is looking for his forever home to love him for who he is and to show him how great the world really is
