CAESAR

This big boy is suffering from his family split up.  He will be 4 years old in July.  He's a handsome merle boy who gets along with dogs nicely and leaves the cats alone (nicely).  He is a bit timid but has proven that obedience work and walking builds his confidence in himself and trust in people.  He crates nicely, and has excellent house manners.  He loves treats and walks.  He knows some commands and obedience terms and is ready to learn even more.  Looking for a quiet, patient home that will love him for who he is and show him the world is a happy fun place.

Update on Caesar....April 28

Caesar has shown his foster home that he is calm in the house (partly the benefit of not being a puppy!), has great house manners, loves to vegg out on the couch and is great with the resident Dane girl.  He kennels great, and doesn't chew stuff!  (yea!)  He sits and waits for his food and is in general a nice obedient dog.  He has been to doggy day care, played nice with the other dogs, and made everyone like him.

He is shy around some men, especially those with big hats.  And was that way when he came to rescue as a 6 month old puppy, probably having gone through something scary before that.  He comes around after he is convinced he will not be hurt.  He would like a quiet home that can concentrate on his needs, teach him good stuff, and just love him.
