Hansel
Hansel is 8 weeks old, fawn with a black mask and charcoal down his back. He was rescued by a Samaritan who got the massive flea population off of him, tried to deal with his baby needs while working a full time job, sadly to discover how impossible that was.
Hansel was also full of internal parasites which
are being treated and otherwise appears to be healthy for his
age. He is now in a foster home with a mom home full time. He
is being crate trained, loved and cuddled, and is learning about
the world of kids, dogs and lots of new 'stuff' for his little
brain to wrap itself around.
He is quiet (at least for now!) and gentle. He
loves to be right beside you and will follow everywhere you
walk. He was examined easily all over, and enjoyed being
touched and smooched. He has wonderful puppy breath and brings
a smile to everyone who has seen him being carried on a
shoulder. :-)
Puppies are a lot of work and one must be
committed to constant hour-to-hour caring, watching,
patience, and teaching when inviting a puppy to be a member of
the family.
