HAGRID!

Named after the giant Harry Potter character, he appears to be a gentle giant himself.  He is 3 years old, a blue merle with a big white tuxedo front.  He has lived his 3 years in the back yard in a cage, which after he began to jump over, was then relegated to a chain so he couldn't get away.  On this chain, he has been attacked 3 times recently by one of the other unchained dogs on the property, causing much injury to both dogs.  The family has given him up because they can not afford to take him to the vet to have his wounds cared for properly or any other normal vet care.

He reportedly has been very good with people and all other dogs except the attacker dog.  He didn't start the fights.  He is a pretty dog and needs to have his wounds cleaned and infections and other medical needs healed.  We will have more info as his foster home learns more about who Hagrid is and how he responds to the magic of inside life and that Dane-couch with his name on it.  :-)
